We have received new detailed information about the Plumis Automist system coupled with standards and legislation.
There is independent fire engineering evidence that Automist can be used to facilitate desirable layouts where the kitchen and living room is combined, a configuration not even afforded to conventional sprinkler systems.
"after reviewing the performance objectives of suppression systems in dwellinghouses and the Plumis Automist documentation and research to date, sufficient evidence has been found to indicate that the system can typically perform equivalent to or better than the minimum expectations of a domestic sprinkler system conforming to BS 9251:2021."
